About Us
Since the turn of the twentieth century, College Republicans at The Ohio State University have dominated campus politics and have helped countless Republican candidates into office as the largest chapter in the nation. Our job as CRs is to recruit, train, mobilize, and engage our generation on behalf of Republican candidates and conservative ideals. With the current state of the economy and invasion of liberal ideology on campus, College Republicans at OSU are deploying hundreds of students to stop the ruinous policies coming from the President and his Democrat cronies. Join the fight by signing up on our website and get involved. We are the voice of young conservatives.
Sam Zuidema, Chairman Sam Zuidema is a second-year student at Ohio State, and has been involved in College Republicans since early in his freshman year. An American History and Political Science major, Sam loves being involved in politics and promoting conservative principles. A native of Reagan’s home state of Illinois, Sam came to the great state of Ohio to be “close to the action” – and to become a part of it. A true conservative, he particularly enjoys advocating on behalf of American gun owners, taxpayers, and individuals. Sam has a deep respect for America’s history and founding, and his goal is to keep and restore the free nation that our founders envisioned. He currently works for State Senator Kris Jordan.
